High Road School of Wallingford High School hosted their annual Thanksgiving feast for students and their families. To prepare for the event, transition students bought materials for the rooms during the week and high school students set up the rooms and made decorations. They were very excited to welcome their family members, show them their hard work, and to share a meal with them.

The menu consisted of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn, green bean casserole, and cranberry sauce. There was a huge dessert bar as well for those who weren’t “stuffed” after seconds were offered! This was a great opportunity for staff to get to know student’s families while learning more about the school. Thank you to students who helped set up this event and to staff who helped serve our guests — Mr. Lindsley (Education Director), Ms. Rossetti (Social Worker), and Mrs. Tatta (Transition Coordinator). A very gracious thank you to Mr. Ziegler from Bristol Public Schools for joining us and helping serve. Lastly, thank you to all the families that attended this event for making it successful!
