Extra, extra, read all about it!! High Road School of Fairfield County has the coolest place to read all of the interesting and amazing books we have in our library! “We have such a unique library/Blue Cafe already, but we needed to make it a little more special for our students,” said Miss. Lindsey the Director of the school. Our Transition Coordinator Mrs. Russo states, “Our high school students helped built the tables, placed the books and chairs and hung up the lights. During a group activity, our social worker interns Ms. T and Ms. F, guided our students with reflecting upon what would be the ideal reading environment, helped them create a plan as a team and as a result we have a wonderful reading nook that is used by many of our students.” Every day students have been utilizing this space and are clearly enjoying it!
