Mental Health Awareness

During the month of November Capital Academy students had the opportunity to attend two assemblies focused on education and understanding of Mental Health Awareness. The American Mental Health Awareness Association provided two interacting assemblies aimed to help students understand, recognize and know what to do when faced with a mental health problem. Capital Academy staff also attended a training to become certified Mental Health First-Aiders. This training provides on going education to help staff meet the diverse needs of our students!
