RISE Classroom Fall Events

Rise class is moving forward in work habits and social skills. Students focused on building independent work habits by having daily tracing and counting worksheets. Many students progress in their social skills by working on taking turns during whole group activities. Rise class introduced Go Talk device used for communication to help students engage more in learning.
Students in the Rise classroom worked also explored pumpkin’s life cycle and they participated in a pumpkin investigation. Within pumpkin investigation, students had to measure the height pumpkin, hypothesize whether the pumpkin would sink or float, and explore whats inside the pumpkin. Overall, Rise classroom exploration was a success in helping our students explore the world around them.
