Unity

In efforts to stand against bullying our teacher, Mrs. Ashley, put together a Unity Event to raise awareness for Anti-Bullying. Before the event students were encouraged to wear orange to show their full support. When walking into the event our staff and students were greeted by a room full of orange to fit in with the theme. The students made paper chains with words of inspiration written on it and had the chance to share words of encouragement to their peers. Each individual class had the opportunity to work cooperatively to answer questions such as, “What would the world look like without bullying?” and present it to the rest of the school. This event made students think of how bullying really effects a person and how the school would look if there was no bullying at all. At the end students were given the chance to take a pledge standing against bullying.
